Incorporated in 2010, the King Curling Club is one of the newest curling clubs in the country. Located inside the Trisan Centre, the facility includes a skating pad, fitness centre, four-sheet curling rink, and an emergency response station.
The village of Schomberg was settled in 1830 and was initially known as Brownsville after the first landowners. Surrounding Schomberg are the rolling hills of King Township.
