The Palmerston Curling Club was founded in 1903. Located inside of the Palmerston & District Community Centre and Arena Complex, this 4-sheet club plays hosts to annual bonspiels, league play and lessons, with a season extending from mid-October to the end of March.

Palmerston is an unincorporated community in the south end of the town of Minto. Palmerston was a key division point for the Grand Trunk and later the Canadian National Railway in  Southwestern Ontario.
